COMMON GROUND
The inspiration for this piece was derived from the impact that the devastation of Cape Fires of 2015 had upon the familiar landscape, rendering it stark and scorched, yet not without a beauty of its own - the magnificence of the pure form of the now stripped-down fynbos, laid bare.
