TENDAI NHAVAIRA
Tendai was born in 1974 in Marondera, east of Harare. He studied ‘O” Level and “A” Level, gaining distinctions for A Level. Disciplines he learnt were painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and photography. His specialisation and passion now is painting. Sources of inspiration for his work include the late Hilary Kashiri, Monet and Van Gogh.

He has participated in many exhibitions locally and in Zimbabwe where his work is characterised by thick brush strokes and vivid colour, people and landscapes. He lives in Harare and is married with two children.
